Macadamia Blondies
Serves 12
Ingredients :
100g/4oz butter, cubed
100g/4oz chocolate, broken
into items
100g/4oz powdered sugar
2 eggs, gently crushed
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
100g/4oz mix sifted
75g/3oz macadamia tree fruity, roughly sliced
• heat up the kitchen appliance to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark four. gently grease a
20cm/8in sq. tin and line with baking parchment, going the paper
hanging over on 2 opposite sides.
• place the butter and chocolate during a heatproof bowl. Half-fill a
saucepan with water, and convey to the boil. take away from the warmth. Place
the bowl over the cooking pan, ensuring that the lowest of the bowl
does not sit within the water. Stir often till the butter and chocolate
have liquified and ar sleek.
• Add the powdered sugar to the bowl, and bit by bit stir within the eggs. Add the
vanilla essence, fold within the flour and macadamia tree fruity, then pour into the
prepared tin. Bake for 35–40 minutes. Leave to cool down within the tin before
lifting out and cutting into squares.
